Sorry to be the GRIMM REAPER OF FOOD but… those cereals among many others that line grocery store shelves are, well… scarier than some of the costumes you may see on Halloween!

Atrocious amounts of sugar, sneaky, hidden trans fatty acids, fiberless carbohydrates and added fillers all hide in these processed foods and contribute to that “muffin top”, “bagel butt” and “donut thighs” you don’t want.

  1. I eat rabbit food. Aka cardboard. Aka cereal with little to no flavor. Think bran, think kashi, think small pebbles of nothingness. Well to be honest I rarely eat cereal..it’s just not my thang..but when I do I pick the rabbit food. YAY! I want HIGH fiber and high protein cereal..then I can be full for longer and SHIT like a boss!! YAY! GO GO GO GI GI GI GIGIGIGI!

    I admit eating what seems to be paper, twigs and feathers but I cover it with coconut milk and a touch of honey. Kashi brand and some other thats called Ancient Grains, tastes ancient but healthy. Cereal about 2-3 x per week , the other days what ever is left from dinner. GiGi it seemed like your sugar may have been at record levels around 1:55 in your vid, 😀 very funny.

    • AH HA HA HA! Sugar high – no way! More like… LIFE HIGH!!! I get my energy from being so passionate about educating others on healthy and not so healthy foods in this world! 🙂 Oh Kashi… I was going to RIP into that brand on my video but I didn’t want to really point any fingers at specific brands for fear I might get in trouble! I may have to make a blog post dedicated to the healthy and not so healthy cereals.

  3. I love Kellogs Product 19, I think it’s a much better for you cereal than a lot of alternatives.

    On a serious note: what about Puffins by Barbara’s are those ok???

    • Are you eating the Cinnamon or Plain version? If you’re eating either of these (in the correct portion sizes) then they’re actually NOT that bad! 🙂 They have 5 or 6 grams of fiber and don’t have too too much sugar. There are definitely WORSE cereals out there. As long as you keep to the proper portion size you should be good! You know what’s best though, right? My butternut squash pancake, LOL!!!!! Pouring a bowl of cereal is wayyyy less time consuming though, lol.

      And if you dress up like a Cinnabun, then I will dress up as a… McFlurry?? Ah haha.
